On behalf of the Connecticut Community Horsemen’s Club (CCHC) at SaddleView Farm, I am writing to extend an exciting sponsorship opportunity to your esteemed organization.
The Connecticut Community Horsemen’s Club (CCHC) at SaddleView Farm in Bethany, CT, is grassroots, non-profit, all-inclusive equine competition club that enables horse enthusiasts regardless of physical, developmental, and emotional challenges to engage in horse-related competitive activities. We are dedicated to fostering positive and enriching experiences through partnerships, ensuring that both challenged and non-challenged individuals can participate and thrive together.

Unfortunately, opportunities for individuals with disabilities to participate in equine competitions are limited in Connecticut. Typically, these individuals can only engage with therapeutic riding centers, which offer structured environments but may cease to be an option when funding is depleted. To address this gap, we have established the Connecticut Community Horsemen’s Club (CCHC) at SaddleView Farm. Our initiative provides all horse enthusiasts with the chance to compete in various activities while benefiting from mentorship and partnership with non-disabled competitors. Our activities are designed to build confidence, foster relationships, and develop new skills that are applicable in everyday life. Inclusion in this community and the chance to work hard and be rewarded with prizes are highly valued by our competitors. Our goal is to offer these opportunities in a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment.
We will be running barrel and pole events at SaddleView Farm, located at 192 Schaffer Rd. in Bethany, CT, every Wednesday night from mid-June until August. Throughout the year, SaddleView Farm hosts a variety of events, including barrel racing competitions, breakaway competitions, roping, and cow sorting. These events attract participants and spectators from diverse backgrounds. As a member-operated club, we depend entirely on fundraisers and donations. The support of sponsors like you is essential to our success, providing vital funds for our events and covering the costs of our year-end awards.
Barrel racing and pole bending are exciting equestrian sports that test the speed, agility, and precision of horse and rider teams. In barrel racing, participants navigate a cloverleaf pattern around three barrels set in a triangular formation as quickly as possible. The goal is to complete the course without knocking over any barrels, demonstrating both the horse’s speed and the rider’s skill in steering through tight turns. Pole bending involves weaving through a series of poles placed in a straight line. Riders must guide their horses in a serpentine pattern around the poles, aiming for a fast time while maintaining accuracy and avoiding contact with the poles. Both sports highlight the close partnership between horse and rider, showcasing their athleticism and teamwork in a competitive and thrilling environment.
We are offering your business a tax-deductible advertising opportunity as a nonprofit organization.
